HAIR SENSITIVITY & INTOLERANCE TESTING

WHAT IS IT & HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our accredited partner provides hair testing worldwide in their UK based Laboratory. Hair is tested using Multiple Analytical Resonance Systems, which is classed as a Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and results do not constitute a medical diagnosis, they are intended to assist in a functional medicine approach to digestive and general health issues.

This test analyses 300 common foods, metals, plants, grasses, pollens, vitamins & minerals and other environmental factors (see additional document “What is Tested” for full list of items covered).

The results will allow you the information needed to make the first stage in making positive changes to your pet’s diet, or altering contributing factors to your pet’s health & wellbeing.

The results will only flag items that have a sensitivity (85% & over) and will be colour coded in easy to understand, Amber & Red colour coded chart, demonstrating borderline & high responses. This report will be emailed to your email address provided to us on the “Customer Information Document” enclosed in this pack.

The results are received within 5 working days under usual circumstances once the samples have been received & posted by us, but can take up to 2 weeks during busier periods at the Laboratory.

You will need to provide 2 x Hair samples, per pet, in the clear resealable bags (provided by us).

There will need to be 10 strands of hair in each sample. The hair still needs to have the hair follicle attached – using a clean brush (as not to mix up hairs with other pets) brush your pet & gather 10 strands of hair (checking the follicle is attached) and place into the correct clear resealable bags provided (these will already be labelled by us).

Once you have your samples, please check you have completed everything on the “Hair Sample Checklist” and bring back into our shop, along with your completed “Customer Information Document”.

There are no additional fees, all sample bags, documents and postage are provided by us. The price for the test is all you need to pay – no hidden extras.

It is important to note this is NOT an ALLERGY test, this is a sensitivity and intolerance test. Allergy testing can only be provided by providing a blood sample for testing or injecting allergens into the skin and monitoring for a reaction, which would need to be completed by a vet.

Sensitivities can occur from merely lacking the digestive enzymes to digest foods, meaning food items not consumed regularly or at all can still show on your report.

Always seek the advice of a vet or other qualified health provider if your pet has a medical condition and/or medical symptoms. Never disregard professional vet’s advice or delay in seeking it.

**PLEASE NOT THIS IS A SERVICE CURRENTLY ONLY OFFERED LOCALLY TO INSTORE CUSTOMERS ONLY. HAIR SAMPLES WILL NEED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE STOP ALONG WITH CUSTOMER INFORMATION SHEETS. PLEASE CALL INSTORE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION & ADVICE. THANK YOU.
