Remove ticks safely with the Johnsons's tick remover tool.
 
Ticks are eight-legged parasites that bite your dog to drink their blood. Although dog ticks are very tiny, they can swell up to the size of a pea once they've attached themselves to your dog by burying their mouthparts into their skin. If they are not removed correctly they can make your pet very poorly.
 
It is important to ensure the tick is removed correctly and the head is removed from under the skin and not detached from the body during the removal process.
 
This tool enables you to do this safely due to the specific designed and angled tool to accommodate this effectively.
 
There are 2 hook sizes on the tool to enable best results for the type of tick involved. 
By inserting the hook from the side of the tick under the ticks body, then lifting slightly and gently twisting several times. The tick should then become detached with head attached after 2 or 3 rotations.
 
DO NOT PULL THE TICK OFF, IT MUST BE TWISTED OFF.
 
This tool can be used to remove ticks from many animals including cats, dogs and horses.
